Peter Carter is a UK Southwest based photographer with an interest in the diverse genres of environmental portraiture,  performing arts,  documentary,  and street photography.  He studied photography at  the University of Portsmouth, Bridgwater College, Somerset College of Arts and the University of the Creative Arts in London.

His work has been exhibited in solo shows at the Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton and at Strode College as well as joint shows in venues across the Southwest and South Wales.  His dance images have been published internationally.

He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and founder of the Somerset Monochrome Group of photographers.
